Hypertriglyceridemia During Pregnancy

The aim of this chapter is to explore the effects of Hypertriglyceridemia during pregnancy. Gestational hypertriglyceridemia is a rare condition that can cause lipid profile disorders in pregnant women. In this study, a young woman’s case will be examined to understand the impact of Hypertriglyceridemia on her pregnancy. She developed Gestational hypertriglyceridemia due to obesity and diabetes, which were discovered during her cesarean section. Fortunately, there were no complications and both the mother and baby were healthy. It is crucial to identify high-risk patients early on during the booking process to screen for the possibility of developing Hypertriglyceridemia later in pregnancy and prevent any complications.
