Chlorophenoxy herbicides are a type of synthetic herbicides that are commonly used to control broad-leaved weeds. While poisoning from these herbicides is rare, there is currently no known antidote. The purpose of this case report is to emphasize the importance of accurate diagnosis and management of 2,4-D herbicide intoxication. Patient was unresponsive to deep painful stimulus, had a high fever and was sweating profusely. He was intubated and later underwent haemodialysis which improved his condition. Intoxication with 2,4-Dimethylamine is rare but can be very dangerous as there is currently no known antidote available. The condition has a high rate of morbidity and mortality. However, certain treatments can be used to help, such as gastrointestinal decontamination, initial emergency resuscitation, and supportive care. Alkaline diuresis is a particularly important treatment option as it can save lives. In cases where necessary, haemodialysis may also be used.
